Talent Development Programmes 

At Hwa Chong, we develop in our students habits of mind that will help them lead effectively and live life to the fullest.  School leaders and teachers strive to create a classroom culture of thinking that supports student learning. The interactions that take place in school show respect for students' thinking and build their self-confidence and self-esteem.  

An integral part of the academic curriculum is the special emphasis we placed on developing students' interests.  From Secondary 3, we offer Talent Development Programmes that cater to their strengths and passions. These include the Art Elective Programme, Bi-cultural Studies (China) Programme, Humanities Programme, Language Elective (Chinese) Programme, and Science and Mathematics Talent Programme.
